Privacy
Spain Tech Radar publishes data about companies, not people. The only personal data we may ever hold is the email address you choose to leave in a form.
Last updated: 12 October 2026.
Who is responsible
Spain Tech Radar is a personal project by Raúl Cotrina. For any privacy question, write to raulcotrina@gmail.com.
Company data
Profiles on the radar contain company information gathered from public sources: their website, their GitHub profile and their job posts. They do not include employee data, personal profiles or personal contacts. The methodology page explains where each piece of data comes from.
If a profile refers to you as a self-employed professional and you would rather not appear, or if you represent a company and want its profile corrected or removed, write to us or use the form on the profile itself. We will deal with it.
What you send us through the forms
You don't need to sign up to suggest a company or propose changes to a profile. We store the content of your proposal and, only if you provide it, your email address.
- What we use it for: to review the proposal and, if needed, ask you about it. Nothing else: we send no newsletters or advertising.
- Legal basis: your consent, which you give by entering your email. The field is optional.
- What gets published: the company data we approve. Your email is never published, and neither is who sent each proposal.
- How long we keep it: together with the proposal, as a record of how each profile has changed. You can ask us to delete your email at any time.
Cookies and tracking
The public website uses no cookies and no analytics or advertising tools, and does not track you across pages. That is why you won't see a cookie banner.
The base map is downloaded from OpenFreeMap, an open mapping service. When it loads, your browser connects to their servers, which receive your IP address as any web server does.
Who else is involved
To work, the project relies on these providers, which process data on our behalf:
- Vercel hosts the website and, like any host, logs technical data about visits, such as the IP address.
- Neon hosts the database where proposals are stored.
- GitHub hosts the code and the published dataset, which contains no personal data.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use or object to it, and withdraw your consent whenever you want. Just write to raulcotrina@gmail.com.
If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
